Birth Trauma MAM 3 Step Rewind

Do you feel that a previous life event is affecting or influencing the way you are coping with your present pregnancy? Or has a recent birth experience left you feeling emotionally scarred?
Symptoms of trauma can include panic attacks, nightmares, flashbacks, anger and irritability, numbness, tearfulness, avoidance of all reminders of the trauma, problems in relationships, feelings of failure and more.
Trauma can also present itself during pregnancy (pregnancy trauma) or breastfeeding (breastfeeding trauma) and fathers or other people in the birthing room can be affected too.

How does it work?

This is not therapy, it is a tried and tested technique where you will be guided through a process allowing you internally to come to terms with your experience and move forward.

Over the three sessions, I will visit your home to facillitate a safe environment to explore what has happened, and allow you to identify any strong emotions brought about by your experience, that then can be worked through using this technique. It is important for you to know that you can either tell me your story or it can be done content free so I don't have to know what has happened in the past.

​The MAM 3 Step Rewind involves three stages:

* Deep Relaxation

* Recalling the event in a specific way whilst feeling safe and secure.

* Imagining coping in the future and responding differently.

​The MAM 3 Step Rewind technique is a very effective and well tested process that neutralises the disturbing feelings associated with your experience. The memory of what happened still exists, but it no longer provokes anxiety, panic, guilt, anger or sadness allowing you to move forward with your life.

​£200 for three sessions.
(For clients outside of a 30 mile radius there will an a additional 40p per mile added.)
